I am solely responsible for the technology of an art gallery in São Paulo, and I build custom software through SFN Creative. I work on the whole project: I design the screen, write the code, set up the database and put it live.
I came from data.
I did not start out programming. I spent a few years working with data: reports in Power BI, Python and SQL.
At some point I realised I was more curious about how the tools were built than about the numbers they spat out. I left analysis behind and graduated in Systems Analysis and Development at FIAP.
In February 2024 I joined an art gallery in São Paulo as its only technology lead: website, internal systems, information security. I migrated the project to Next.js, React, TypeScript and Supabase.
Coming from data changed how I build. I think first about what the system needs to record and answer, and what happens when the volume grows. SFN Creative came out of that.
